Damn, that Kimball Lee..She did it again!!!

Once again, Kimball Lee has written a wild ride of a story filled with adventure, fun-thrill seeking characters and dirty talking hotter than hell male characters with spitfire female leads!!! I'm sucked in again to one of her stories and cant wait for the next installment! This one has soooo much potential and is centered in the heart of Texas with testosterone filled cowboys and sassy single women. If you haven't read a Kimball Lee series this is a great one to start with!

oh my gosh so much is going on. we go back and forth between the three girls. each finds love. but also issues. will they make the right choice? will they return when they graduate?

I just couldn't finish this story. My expectations weren't high, I just wanted a fun reading romp, but I just couldn't get into it. This series revolves around three girlfriends on the cusp of graduating college and entering true adulthood-- bills, responsibility, etc-- and they want one last, no-strings-attached, hurrah at SXSW. I was completely onboard for this, but I didn't connect with the characters or the writing. The three girls are beautiful, great bodies, from rich families...so perfect, perfect, perfect, but the author gave them each a bit of a tragic past event. For me, their backstories felt contrived more than sympathetic so the characters just felt very flat to me. I can't say much about the story or how it progresses because I quit at about 20% (I didn't even get to any of the heroes), but up to that point the writing fumbled along...it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.
